Severe weather doesn’t stop American HomePatient from serving patients
American HomePatient – which became part of Lincare in 2016 – went into action when severe weather knocked out power to its center in Festus, Mo. With a flooded center and no electricity, the staff re-routed customer requests to nearby Lincare centers so service would not be disrupted.

The staff also worked with the power company and a professional remediation crew to bring the Festus center back into operation as quickly as possible. Thanks to their determination and dedication, the center was closed for only a day and patients were served despite the challenges.
