Meeting Your Care Specialist

One of the first things you will do when you get started with Lincare is meet your local team member. These individuals are the lifeblood of our company and work closely with each of our patients to manage their unique needs. During the initial meetings, your specialist will take the time to get to know you and understand how your condition has impacted your quality of life.

The main goal of these initial sessions is to establish a relationship built on trust and understanding. Our mission at Lincare is to provide you with treatment and supplies that will help you continue living the lifestyle to which you are accustomed.

How to Get Your Practitioners Involved

One of the first things on your checklist when getting started with us is to inform your medical providers of your decision to use Lincare. By establishing this strong communication line early on, we can work together with your practitioners to better understand your condition and medical history.

Their knowledge of how current and past treatments have worked for you can help us identify possible treatment options and solutions. Our top priority is to provide you with the best possible care, high-quality equipment, and resources to effectively manage your chronic illness and improve your quality of life.

Switching to Lincare

If you are switching to Lincare from another provider, we want to make sure your transition in care is as smooth as possible. Our team of specialists will work with you through the onboarding process and in establishing a treatment plan in connection with your treating practitioner.

To make your initial days with Lincare successful, consider the below to ensure there is no gap in care:

  • Notify your primary care physician of your change in supplier
  • Notify your insurance company
  • Return supplies and equipment to previous home care providers

What to Expect

As a new Lincare patient, we want you to understand the services and resources available to you. We believe knowledge is the key to success when managing a chronic condition. That is why we have created a patient portal for our patients.

The Patient Portal is also an excellent source for keeping up to date on new treatment options, medical advances, and guides to living with your specific diagnosis.

Feeling confident with your healthcare specialists is also important to your overall comfort and well-being. Our team of healthcare specialists is highly trained and focused on providing exceptional, individualized service for our patients. Team members undergo extensive training, so they have the knowledge to make expert recommendations to improve patients' overall quality of life.

Lincare also offers:
  • Training on how to operate and maintain medical equipment
  • 24-hour assistance—seven days a week
  • Full line of homecare equipment and services
  • In-home visits from healthcare professionals
Many of our patients are new to working with a home care provider and are unfamiliar with how the process works. If you are unsure of your options or have questions at any point in the process, please reach out to us. One of our team members will be happy to assist you.
