Home INR Testing and Monitoring

Treatment Type 2

If you are taking blood thinners to avoid clotting, weekly PT/INR self-testing could reduce the risk of your blood clotting by providing reliable, real-time results from home. The mdINR program allows you to check your PT/INR levels at home rather than going to your practitioner's office or a lab. mdINR supplies everything you need for easy self-testing, including: a portable testing device, testing supplies, one-on-one training to help you accurately test your PT/INR value, and highly qualified compassionate clinical specialists who are available 24/7 to answer questions and help you succeed in your treatment.

How We Can Help

Patients who receive a manufactured valve will almost always require a blood-thinning medication for the rest of their lives. The blood thinner will keep clots from forming. Living with a Mechanical Heart Valve can be challenging, but you're not in it alone. Lincare’s affiliates are here for you and provide at Home PT/INR Testing. The INR Testing program may improve health-related quality of life while receiving the medical treatment you need.
