Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NWPT)

Treatment Type 1

NPWT treats severe wounds that are beyond the care of standard antibiotics and bandaging. NPWT uses a special dressing that seals the wound. A gentle vacuum pump is attached to remove drainage from the wound.

Specialty Dressings and Wound Care Supplies

Treatment Type 2

Often with wound care, you'll need specific dressings to aid in the healing process. Wound dressing manufacturers offer a wide array of specialty dressings, collagens, silvers, alginates and even basics such as gauze, tape, and bandages.

How We Can Help

Patients who receive a manufactured valve will almost always require a blood-thinning medication for the rest of their lives. The blood thinner will keep clots from forming. Living with a Mechanical Heart Valve can be challenging, but you're not in it alone. Lincare’s affiliates are here for you and provide at Home PT/INR Testing. The INR Testing program may improve health-related quality of life while receiving the medical treatment you need.
