    How long is the battery life?

    Toggle

    Depending on the wound size and drainage amount, the battery will last up to 24 hours. You can extend the battery life to 48hrs with sleep mode.

    How do I know the pump is charging?

    A blue light will illuminate on the keypad above the power button, and a lightning bolt will display next to the battery indicator light.

    How often do I empty the canisters?

    The canisters are disposable and are changed once a week or when full. Canisters should never be reused.

    The pump is alarming “blockage,” what does this mean?

    This means the pump has detected a restriction of flow

    How do I fix a blockage alarm?

    Toggle

    Ensure the tubing is not clamped and/or kinked. Please contact the wound division for assistance if this does not rectify the alarm.

    The pump is alarming “leak,” what does this mean?

    This means that the dressing is not intact and is coming off.
