Jeff Barnhard
CEO | Lincare Holdings Inc.
Jeff Barnhard has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Lincare as of July 2023 after serving as Vice President for the Southern US HYCO Onsite and Merchant businesses with our parent company, Linde.
Jeff has been in the homecare and industrial gases industry for over 30 years. He has a deep knowledge of the US Homecare market and experience in process engineering, business management and sales.
Greg McCarthy
COO | Lincare Holdings Inc.
Greg McCarthy has been with Lincare for over 25 years, and he has been Chief Operating Officer since 2015 after serving as Vice President, Operations, since 2003. Greg has a deep knowledge of the company’s Operations, having various roles in sales and area/region leadership throughout his tenure.
Overall, Greg has been in the DME industry for over 30 years. He has experience from hospital-based roles including sales, managed care, physician recruitment and practice management.

Our History
1879
Carl von Linde founded Linde in Wiesbaden, Germany, to sell mechanical refrigeration systems for the beer brewing industry.
1907
Linde Air Products is formed in the United States as a subsidiary of Linde.
1917
Union Carbide Corporation purchases The U.S.-based Linde Air Products company, as a result of expropriation in the turmoil of the First World War.
1972
The Linde Homecare Medical Systems division was formed within Union Carbide.
1987
Union Carbide spins off Linde Homecare Medical Systems as Lincare Inc.
1991
Lincare Holdings goes public on the NASDAQ.
2012
The Linde Group purchases Lincare Holdings for $4.6 Billion. Lincare is now back in the Linde Family.
2018
Merger of Equals of Praxair and Linde; now named Linde plc.
Today, Lincare is a leading provider in the respiratory homecare industry and serves approximately 1.8 million patients nationwide.
