    What is CPAP?

    Toggle

Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) is the standard therapy for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and involves using a home CPAP machine to regulate your breathing during sleep. When your practitioner orders home sleep therapy, Lincare will work with you and your prescriber to ensure that the device and prescribed settings work best for you. Learn more about our sleep therapy options.

Do I need a CPAP machine?

    Toggle

If you suffer from obstructive sleep apnea, a CPAP machine may be beneficial. Inadequate sleep can cause a range of serious health problems. Consult your provider and discuss whether starting sleep therapy with Lincare is right for you.

How long will I need to use a CPAP machine?

    Toggle

CPAP therapy is not a cure, but is a therapeutic process to alleviate your symptoms. The length of time you'll need to use a CPAP device depends on various health and environmental factors.

Can I take the DreamStation® Auto CPAP on a plane?

    Toggle

Airlines in the United States allow passengers to travel with CPAP machines because they're essential healthcare devices. If you're traveling internationally, we recommend contacting your airline to confirm you can bring your DreamStation® on board. Learn more about traveling with a CPAP here
