What does Top-of-head tube mean?
Toggle
"Top-of-head tube" means the CPAP tubing is connected at the top of the head on your CPAP headgear instead of having the hose directly in front of your face. With the tubing attached at the top, patients can sleep in any position they desire without getting tangled up in the tubing throughout the night. Is the Philips™ Respironics™ DreamWear compatible with my machine?
Toggle
CPAP masks are compatible universally across most CPAP machines. If you have any questions about connecting your new mask, the Lincare team is here to help. Will the DreamWear Full Face Mask just cover my nose or my nose and mouth?
Toggle
Although the Philips™ Respironics™ DreamWear Full Face mask is considered a Full Face mask, the cushion gently rests under the nose sealing around your nostrils and will also cover the mouth. How long does it take for CPAP therapy to work?
Toggle
CPAP therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Every patient is different, and symptoms can exacerbate based on everything from the severity of your condition to your sleeping position and how you breathe during sleep. Because of this, you might start seeing an improvement right away, or it could take longer than anticipated. At Lincare, we'll work closely with you to ensure your therapy is as effective as possible and that you receive the maximum benefits from your CPAP treatment. -
