On November 28, 2025, Medicare released its Final Rule for the Competitive Bidding Program, outlining changes for the next round of bidding. The update primarily focuses on newer product categories, while Lincare’s core products, such as oxygen therapy and CPAP equipment, will not be included.
What does this mean?

For patients and providers, this is positive news. It ensures continued stability for essential respiratory products and services that many depend on every day. Lincare remains committed to delivering high-quality care without disruption.

What’s next?

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will begin educational outreach soon. The bidding process for the new product categories is expected to run through late summer or early fall of 2026, with contracts awarded in 2027. While other suppliers may focus on these new categories, Lincare will continue to concentrate on its core services, providing reliable respiratory care and support to patients nationwide.

Thank you for your support.

Advocacy efforts play an important role in shaping policies that protect patients’ access to care. Lincare will continue working to ensure a positive environment for patients and providers alike.
