How often should I change the filter in my PARI® Compressor?

    Toggle

The PARI compressor includes a filter designed to last up to 500 hours of use. The compressor air filter is bright white when new. Once the filter turns grey, it is time for a replacement. Replace the filter immediately if it gets wet or becomes clogged.

What should I do if my PARI Aerosol System is not producing mist and my treatments are taking longer than before?

    Toggle

Should your treatment on a PARI system take longer than it used to, clean and disinfect your nebulizer according to the instructions. If your nebulizer nozzle is clogged, replace it immediately.

What is the difference between a nebulizer and a compressor?

    Toggle

The compressor is the part of the PARI Aerosol System that creates the airflow that travels to your nebulizer through the tubing. The nebulizer is the medicine cup that turns your medication into a mist or aerosol.

How do I disinfect my nebulizer?

    Toggle

Using a clean container or bowl, soak items in three parts hot water to one-part white vinegar for 30 minutes. Another option is to disinfect your nebulizer using a medical bacterial-germicidal disinfectant available through your care provider. Be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully. With clean hands, remove items from disinfectant solution, rinse under hot tap water, and air dry on a clean paper towel. Store in a resealable bag.
