QR codes, also known as Quick Response codes, have gained popularity in recent years due to their ability to store large amounts of information in a small space. This invention was created in 1994 by a Japanese company called Denso Wave.1 Many businesses, including Lincare, have started utilizing QR codes to enhance their service and improve customer experiences. In this blog, we will explore how Lincare is using QR codes and how they can be beneficial for both the company and our patients.

Digital Transformation

To streamline our operations and continue to provide a positive patient experience, Lincare has embraced digitalization, and QR codes have played a crucial role in this digital transformation. One of the initial ways Lincare implemented QR codes was by including them on patients’ monthly billing statements. Once the QR code is scanned, it will take the patients to the How to Read You Bill blog on Lincare.com. Providing patients with this quick link empowers them to access billing information easily, without the need for a phone call to the billing department.

Learn how to read your bill by openig your smart phone camera and hover over the QR code. Then tap the link in yellow, for billing FAQ's go to: https://go.lincare.com/Billing/FAQ.

In addition, QR codes are also being used for gathering patient feedback and testimonials through each local Center’s Google review. Lincare Centers may provide patients with a Google review postcard. By simply scanning the QR code on the postcard, patients are directed to a feedback form, making it easy for them to share and rate their experience. Continuous feedback from our patients can help Lincare improve services and recognize outstanding team performance.

However, remember that anything you post on Google (or other public platforms) is open to the public to read and see. You always want to be careful what you post on these platforms and avoid posting private or personal information you do not want others to know or see.

How did we do? Please leave a review. Your care is our top priority. Your feedback helps us to continue our mission in delivering the best possible care with compassion, empathy, and professionalism. Please take a moment to review your overall setup process and interactions with Lincare on Google. Follow the promoted steps after scanning the QR code.

To use a QR code, follow these steps:

  1. Open your smartphone camera app and point it steadily for 2-3 seconds towards the QR code you want to scan.
  2. Whenever scanning is enabled, a notification and a link will appear.
  3. Click the link when it appears to be directed to the webpage.
  4. If nothing happens, you may have to go to your settings app and enable QR Code scanning.
  5. If your device does not have built-in QR code scanning capabilities, you can install a third-party QR code reader application.

QR codes have become a part of Lincare's digitization process. If you happen to come across a QR code from Lincare, feel free to scan it using your device's QR code scanning app or smartphone camera. The QR code will provide you with information, hopefully making your interactions with Lincare simpler and ensuring a smooth and convenient experience. At Lincare, we value each and every patient and strive to provide outstanding service to all. While some may find convenience in using QR codes for specific processes, please note that it is not a requirement to receive exceptional service at any of our locations. Our dedicated team of professionals is always ready to assist you in person, over the phone, or through alternative methods. We are committed to meeting your needs and ensuring your satisfaction.
