Centers from the southeast Pennsylvania region came together to participate in the annual ALS United Mid- Atlantic Walk, demonstrating their commitment to raising awareness and support for those affected by Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). This year’s event highlights the powerful role of local and corporate supporters, with Lincare receiving recognition of their contributions.

As participants gathered for the walk, they proudly showcased the collective message that no one faces ALS alone. The event, organized by ALS United Mid-Atlantic for over 40 years, aims to fund critical care service programs, advocacy initiatives, and research to combat this challenging disease. This association’s ambitious 2025 goal was to raise $150,000 and donations are still open for those looking to contribute to this important cause.

The atmosphere was filled with hope and solidarity as walkers, families, and friends untied to make a difference in the lives of those battling ALS. The continued support from the community and organizations like Lincare underscores the importance of collaboration in the fight against this devastating disease.
